Legacy Mission of Big Country Soccer Association
For more than 40 years, the Big Country Soccer Association (BCSA) worked to promote and advance the growth of soccer across Abilene and the Big Country, providing a welcoming place where players, coaches, referees, and families could learn, play, and grow together.
BCSA’s purpose was to create enjoyable and accessible opportunities for all participants, fostering a lifelong love for the game across all ages and skill levels. Through organized competition, the Association championed the highest ideals of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and courage, helping shape generations of youth both on and off the field.
As BCSA concludes its service and formally dissolves in 2026, its mission and spirit live on through Abilene Youth Sports Authority (AYSA) Soccer — continuing to build a positive, inclusive, and community-driven soccer program for the next generation of Big Country families.
